'Paws to Read' registration starts Sept. 12

Danville Library will host "Paws to Read" literacy program at 4 p.m. and 4:35 p.m., Mondays, Oct. 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31 and Nov. 7, at the Danville Library, Mt. Diablo Room, 400 Front St. This series is for children in grades 1-5 only and pre-registration is required; call 837-4889 (registration begins on Sept. 12 with maximum of three reading sessions per child).

More details, please? Will canines or felines be involved? Whose? May my mutts matriculate? They can certainly read (me like a book), but, like Enzo's, their enunciation needs work.
