Streetwise: What does the fall season mean for you?

Although temperatures make it seem like summer is in full swing, fall is rapidly approaching. With the fall equinox just a week away, Roving Reporter Stan Wharton walked along the soon to be changing trees of Railroad Avenue and asked residents ==B What does fall mean for you?==

I grew up in the Midwest, so fall for me has always been represented by the brilliant colors on the trees, football season, crisp mornings and evenings, apple cider, Halloween decorations and candy in the stores, pumpkin patches, Thanksgiving turkey smelling up the home, and pumpkin pie. Fortunately, I can also enjoy most all of this while living in Danville -- except maybe true blue apple cider. To have anything close, we have to go to Apple Hill near Placerville, very reminiscent of a Midwestern fall setting.
