Local Drainage Issuse in Alamo
Original post made by [removed], Alamo, on Nov 27, 2011
Supervisor Gayle Uilkema and the Contra Costa County Flood Control District are holding a community meeting, December 12, 6:30PM to 8:30pm at the Alamo Women's Club,1401 Danville Blvd, Alamo to discuss local drainage issues with Alamo residents, neighborhood groups, advisory agencies, and community groups.
It has been the interest of neighborhood groups to cover open drainage along Danville Blvd and other roadways and provide crushed gravel walkways off the pavement. Further, there is interest in using the same covering of open drainage, in part, to bring underground utilities and boulevard lighting to the length of Danville Blvd, Livorna Road and Stone Valley Road.
This could be an opportunity for interested residents and groups to pursue interactive dialog with the Supervisor in pursuit of such infrastruction improvements.
