Campaign rewards kids for walking, biking to school

Sixteen local elementary schools are participating in the Street Smarts Walk/Bike Challenge, which challenges kids to walk, bike, skateboard or scoot to school instead of riding in a car.

Federal grants.

To 'encourage' children to walk to school.

Unbelievable.

These grants should be labeled 'perfect sequester cut' in large letters.

Geez, do you HAVE to use the name Diane, Diane from Alamo? You and I cannot be any more politically opposite, and I really don't want anyone thinking I have lost my senses. Any chance you will choose another moniker?
