This is a wonderful thing to do, and kudos to Armanino LLP for their contribution to the community! The non-profit I work for has been assisted many times by Chevron on their day of giving. There is no way we can meet all the needs of the families we serve without the assistance of volunteers - we just don't have enough staff, or family members and friends to constantly assist.

I do find it unusual that St. Joan of Arc received assistance, though. In my life, being part of a parish includes making a commitment to taking care of the various needs of the church - we all volunteer. I don't think we would feel comfortable taking time away from a non-profit (or an individual citizen) that needed assistance, while we had capable parishioners. Hopefully that is more a result of the COO being a parishioner (which is perfectly understandable) than a trend, and other parishes will not follow suit and will appeal to their own populations for assistance instead.

The non-profits listed, however, likely benefited greatly from this wonderful assistance, and will no doubt be much more able to serve their individuals and families in the near future!

Let's hope more companies follow Armanino LLP's example. Thanks for helping our community, Armanino LLP employees!
