Danville man admits wire fraud, identity theft

A Danville man faces up to 22 years in prison and as much as $250,000 in fines after pleading guilty to wire fraud and identity theft. Behzad Talai Mofrad used the identity of a Minnesota boy who went missing in 1989 to obtain false identification.

This is so disturbing to hear. Jacob's aunt was a dear friend of mine. His abduction was horrible and devastating for the family and am sure contributed to my friend's early demise, as he was very special to her."
I am glad that this person has been apprehended.
