Original post made by Discover Danville Association on Nov 10, 2013

Get into the Spirit! With the holiday season fast approaching, Danville merchants have come together for an evening of holiday cheer that will save you money while benefiting local charities. The Spirit of Danville Pre-Holiday Shopping Event takes place Thursday, November 14th from 11:00am - 8:00pm.

Over 50 Danville merchants and restaurants in downtown Danville, Danville Livery, The Rose Garden and Blackhawk Plaza will participate in this magical event to kick-start the holiday shopping season. This is your chance to take advantage of money-saving offers, deep discounts on dining out and a whole lot of holiday cheer. Some merchants will be serving hot cider, cookies, holiday ornaments and other free gifts. Be sure to eat out, as participating restaurants will give exclusive discounts to The Spirit of Danville ticket-holders.
