"Water feature a waste of resources"? Probably stated by global warming/climate change fools. Hope we get a water feature at the park. Lots of fun water play for our kids. Water water water! Yes!!!!

Why sand? Do we have any idea how many cats use it for a litter box? I, for one, never allow my grand kids in the sand there.

Somewhere in the greater Greenbrook area would be a good place for another dog park. For instance, at Osage, there's an area that has not been devoted to sports fields because it floods once every decade or so. I have it on good authority that the dogs wouldn't mind waiting-out those floods, once or twice in their lifetimes. A fence and a water line is about all it'd require.

Hap Magee is a wonderful setting, but also a victim of its own success. I hope the new tougher turf is an answer, but a better one is to reduce wear/tear by providing another facility for people and their hounds.
