BART, union reps meet again over contract dispute

BART and its two biggest labor unions returned to the bargaining table Wednesday to make another attempt to resolve a dispute over a contract provision that calls for employees to receive up to six weeks of paid family medical leave annually.

Can you believe this insanity ? Not one single person in this mess is looking out for the interest of the public tax payers. Anybody want to bet that our wonderful elected MORONS continue to to DO NOTHING ? Hey Sacramento.....get the NO STRIKE legislation going folks, that's what your job and supposed leadership requires in this situation.

Operating costs go up- cost to riders goes up. Cost to riders goes up- riders need a pay/benefit increase at their jobs.

Many overqualified, unemployed Americans would be grateful for BART jobs at their current pay/benefit level.
