BART fined over fatal crash near Walnut Creek

BART has been fined $210,000 by the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health for three safety violations that resulted in the deaths of two track workers during a strike last year, Cal/OSHA officials announced Thursday.

BART gets fined? And who is paying this fine? Bay area taxpayers. This makes no sense. Those in positions of responsibility at BART should be held responsible, financially and legally.
