Alameda County candidate drops out of race amid Danville home controversy

Kathleen Knox, a candidate for Alameda County auditor-controller in the June 3 primary, has withdrawn from the race after pleading not guilty to six felony charges alleging she lied about where she lived.

Let me guess - you don't live in the district you ran and the felony charges makes campaigning a little tough. It is crazy some of the things people will do

This woman should put a little effort into her house at 663 Sheri Lane...What a mess! There are countless young adults/teenagers in and out of there with their noisy jacked up trucks and dried mud on the street. The paint is peeling off the garage door and the yard is overgrown. Cars line the street in the evenings.

Does Kathleen Knox actually live there? I've never seen an adult there.
