Happy to see that the park service followed the communities recommendations to replace worn area and protect with fencing, while growing. They also need to be vigilant about keep the area moist.

Please, please, the park is in Alamo also and Alamo residents provide half of the cost of the park. Danville has had the audacity to exclude Alamo in any decision making--instead we just pay. Thanks Danville.

What's the toughest, nastiest lawn weed ever -- the one you can NEVer seem to eradicate?

Crabgrass. Believe it or not, you can buy it by the 5 lb. sacks, and up: Web Link

I have it on good authority that the dogs would not mind its presence in the K9 Corral. Maybe mix some in with that relatively delicate Bermuda seed?

They close the dogpark for months between Nov and March. Why wasn't this taken care of then? Also, other dog parks are open 7 days a week year round while this park is closed for maintenance all day Tues. Let's keep it open longer!

The Real solution involves another dog park location to reduce the overuse of this fine facility. Osage where it floods occasionally (therefore no sports field impact), a strip along the IH Trail, north of Sycamore to the freeway over-crossing, somewhere in Sycamore Valley Park, etc.
