Late-night freeway crash reported near Alamo

Four lanes were closed for more than an hour on Interstate 680 near Alamo following a crash involving a trailer and another vehicle late Tuesday night, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

Wouldn't be surprised if speed was a factor which caused the trailer to detach from the vehicle. Have seen plenty of vehicles towing trailers going way too FAST (65+) on the freeway. Speed limit when towing a trailer is supposed to be 55 MPH. Sure doesn't seem like it though!
