After reading your article 'Hurt People Hurt People' I would like to applaude Linda Chamberlin and Devore Levine for their efforts. I also need to ask what happens when the accuser is actually the abuser. Such is the case with your speaker Evelyn Connell. Ms. Connell was a victum of childhood abuse which was never adressed, therefore at the start of her relationship with my brother Ken she brought with her all the baggage of abuse. A toxic mix of mistrust, anger, deceit and crystal meth planted the seeds on which this relationship started. Due to the recent loss of our parents she found a vulnerable victim in Ken. I'm glad Ms.Connell is seeking help but to ignore the origins and acuse Ken of abuse is not fair to herself, her children, those her are helping her and least of all my late brother Kenneth Mattew Connell who cannot defend himself against her liable. Groups like STAND must use caution in who are their spokespersons, Ms. Connell is no hero. Keith Connell
