I would appreciate further explanation on "identity theft" and "auto burglary". What was taken? I think I can protect myself better if I knew.
Only from my experience for auto burglary, they took my work coat, ashtray with change and my work bag with paper work. One night I didnt lock my car. Good news is they were arrested down the street. The newspaper guy called it in and the cops got them. Funny thing is the cop that pulled them over, saw my jacket with my company name and knows me. She sent someone over to wake me up to identify my stuff and make the arrest. I have been told that people get out of lock up and Danville is an easy place to break into garages and cars to get quick money. Thats what the cop told me. This was 9 or 10 years ago. Thats the only problem I have had in 15 years living here.
