Quirkology of Quilts opens this week

Although the weather may be too warm to add one to your bed, the Museum of the San Ramon Valley is removing quilts from their closet summer homes in a new exhibit. Quirkology of Quilts will be on display from Thursday, Aug. 25 through Sunday, Sept. 25 and features several special events on Saturdays.

I look forward to seeing this exhibit.

Was there a call to artists sent out?

I ask because the preeminent quilt artist in the greater bay area, Karla Schreffler (Studio in Danville), is not part of this exhibit.

How is that possible?
