Muslim women reach out to Catholic Church for Christmas fundraiser

On Oct. 27, four Muslim women raised over $11,000 for several charitable efforts at St. Isidore Catholic Church. Funds raised at Ayesha Omar Khan, Zohreen Aamir, Naila Qureshi and Zainab Saeed's "All About Giving" event -- which featured gourmet food, jewelry, clothes and Christmas ornaments -- will go toward St. Isidore's Adopt a Family and Adopt a Child programs as well as the needy in Pittsburg, Richmond and the children of migrant farm workers.
