What will be the important stories of 2012?

Original post made by Harald A. Bailey on Dec 21, 2011

Dear Editor,

Joyous wishes for the holidays to your readers, EMCEB staff and you.

This morning, many among local e-exchanges, linkedin connections and e-greetings from friends seem to be focused on what will be important stories in 2012. Financial markets, elections, government gridlock, global conflicts and local issues were considered in hopeful review.

I wonder what your readers consider to be the important stories coming in 2012? Will the stories be more local or will global conflicts and crisis concerns dominate our news? Where will WE, the people, find voice in such important issues?

Let's hope readers are willing to share their thoughts.
