Those pesky errors

The fast pace of daily newspapers and news services around the world results in many errors, and the resulting corrections have almost become an art form. The website wraps up the year's best corrections each December and, now, the The Poynter Institute runs a blog of the same name.

When I attempted to visit, it was blocked by Google with the following message:

Reported Attack Page!

I like malaprop headlines:

"Include Children in Your Holiday Cakes and Pies"

"Prostitutes Appeal to Pope"

...and the classic:

"The Ladies of the Church have Cast Off Clothing of Every Kind. They Can Be Seen in the Basement After Services"
