Interfaith celebration to feature transgender choir

More than 30 open and affirming faith communities will welcome all of God's children - gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and straight - to celebrate and feel God's inclusive love at the seventh annual Witness Our Welcome (W.O.W.) Interfaith Worship Celebration on Sunday. This year the celebration is being held around National Coming Out Week and the transgender choir of San Francisco will perform.

Wonderful!!

So many fearful people think that God is about rigid rules and exclusion; they forget that God and spirituality are about love and inclusion.

What a celebratory event, and it is especially delightful to be happening here in our conservative valley.

Thank you Danville Weekly, for letting the community know about this life-affirming, loving event that celebrates human nature in its infinite variety and complexity.
