Alamo at the crossroads: Meet the candidates

On March 3, Alamo residents will make two major decisions: Should Alamo incorporate to become a town? And, who should serve on the first Town Council?

Hi Dolores,

Your coverage of the Alamo Town Council candidates is an excellent example of balanced and insightful reporting. In limited space you captured much of the essence of each person.

The Political Action Committee - WE R ALAMO - recommends a NO VOTE ON MEASURE A, which automatically wipes the slate clean of ALL candidates!

Please note the error in Jan 9th 2009 Danville weekly ,the ERROR saying the COUNCIL CANDIDATES FAIRE is being held on 22nd Janaury WEDNESDAY ,it should be "THURSDAY" I want as many people as possible to meet the Candidates.This error was POINTED BY ME TO DANVILLE WEEKLY,I HAVE NOT seen any correction as yet.

It's been corrected in our online version and will be corrected in the print edition Jan. 16. My apologies - I hope the word gets out to everyone who saw the mistake. The Candidates Forum is indeed Thursday, Jan. 22.
