Learn about the anti-Christian militancy in India

Catholics@Work will host Archbishop Dominic Jala of India who will speak from 7-8:15 a.m., Tuesday, May 12, at Crow Canyon Country Club, 711 Silver Lake Dr., Danville. Archbishop Jala has worked with other church leaders to address the issue of militancy in the State of Meghalaya, India. Cost is $20-$25. Call 525-0272.

It is always interesting that every religion wants tolerance and acceptance. So what does tolerance mean. In many cases, it is only in reference to the person wanting it and in the case of India and many countries that are not Christian, like Iraq, it certainly doesn't apply. Christians have been persecuted for centuries in non-Christian countries and it isn't getting better with fanaticism growing.
