This is awesome. This is how a community supports their own. God bless the Romans.

I oppose closing main streets for another event even if it is for a police officer killed in the line of duty. Also, the organizer said this is a "family event". I don't get it: a wine stroll for families on a Sunday? People out with their kids, drinking and partying. Great idea. Most people with kids won't be out Sunday drinking. They are home in their own backyards where it is safer and cheaper. Let's hope the Danville police are out catching the drinkers when they leave the event and drive home. Good concept but wrong venue.

I don't understand what's the issue regarding closing the street.... traffic is NOT shut is just detoured.... what a small inconvenience compared to living with the loss of a husband, father and one of our own guardians.....

What a great way to support the family of a Danville resident. Thank you for all of the outpouring of support that the Danville community has shown to the Romans family!!!
