Mark Curtis For Town Council

Original post made by Slone, Danville, on Oct 3, 2009

Mark Curtis is clearly the best applicant for the open town council seat. He is a long time Danville resident,a nationally recognized expert in government and political issues, has been very active in volunteer activities for Danville, is bipartisian, and was a friend of the late councilman Mike Shimansky. It would be a fitting tribute to Mike Shimansky and his family to appoint Mark Curtis to this position. Mark Curtis would hit the ground running, and would work well with the other council members in achieving bipartisian goals. It is time for our existing councilpersons to put their ego's and partisian goals to the side, and select the best person for the job: Mark Curtis.

Dear Dolores,

Many Danville neighbors north of Diablo Road in the Diablo Vista neighborhoods agreed that Mark is exceptionally qualified to be a council member in the town of Danville. What must be decided by such neighborhoods is what can be accomplished from Mark's services to his community. Certainly, there will be no election, but neighbors understand that Mike's chosen replacement must be guided in the goals of a diverse community separated by Diablo Road.

Mark's exceptional expertise in politics and his willing relationships with the community of neighborhoods is only questioned for his own goals for Danville. His North Danville neighbors would appreciate his positions and interests so they know what to expect from his services.
