Two people were shot tonight in an apparent hold-up attempt at the Alamo Jewelry Mart on Danville Boulevard. Police were called just after 7 p.m.
Witness believe one employee and the robbery suspect were wounded.
At 9 p.m. seven police cars from the Contra Costa Sheriff's Department continued to surround the building, which was marked off by yellow police crime scene tape.
