Student and Educator Recognition

Original post made by alamojj on May 10, 2010

At the Alamo Rotary club meeting on May 5, 2010, the club
recognized 6 outstanding San Ramon Valley teachers and
6 outstanding students for their extraordinary achievements.
Representing Alamo Elementary School, Mauzy School,
Rancho Romero Elementary School, Stone Valley Middle School,
San Ramon High School, and Monte Vista High School,
our honorees explained to us their accounts of their individual
commitments to excellence. They each were thankful for the
recognition of their efforts in these demanding educational times.

We are extremely blessed in the San Ramon School District to
have so many outstanding teachers and administrators who have
devoted their careers to shaping the future through nurturing and
educating our young people.

It was inspiring to see some of the results of their efforts in the
group of students that were recognized.

To see pictures from the presentations go to Facebook, Rotary Club
of Alamo, Pictures, Student and Educator of the year 2010. Click on
each picture to see the names of the honorees.

Would have loved to see who the winners were, but alas I am not on Facebook.
