We can always count on Congressman Jerry McNerney to be hard a work for us in District 11. This bill and his past bills that have become law are geared to support our soldiers, veterans and families and to increase jobs for us hard working Americans. Thank you Jerry McNerney and Happy 4th of July.
We can always count on Mcnee to vote to weaken the United States, to vote to destroy health care in America, and to support the far-left agenda of the white house.
Start looking at moving companies, Mcnee. You're out of a job come November
It's too late Mr. McNerney. Enjoy your remaining days in office!
The best way to encourage companies to not outsource is to encourage a friendlier business climate so that companies aren't forced to ship jobs overseas in order to make a profit. Unfortunately, Jerry and his lefty ilk are too busy passing bills to control companies and company profits to see the big picture as to how to grow companies and create jobs. Hoping you enjoyed your one term and all the lifetime benefits you'll be stealing from the taxpayers. See you at the polls.
The headline should read:
McNerney introduces bill to abolish capitalism and the free market.
McNerney should wake up and realize we are in a Global Economy.
Why pay someone $80 per hour to put hubcaps on cars when you can do it cheaper elsewhere? Oh, the unions support you?
McNerney: You aren't accountable to the unions ... you're accountable to the citizens. We'll remind you in Novemenber.
Here comes the hate.....I can't wait for these tea baggers to find a new hobby. Honestly guys, you have made your point of view known many times to us, we get it and are aware of your perspectives, your childish taunts are getting redundant and ultimately hurting your cause.
Attack, attack, attack. McNerney and this administration just don't understand that it takes a positive attitude, a positive environment in which to grow the economy. Encourage business, don't continue to beat it to death with more regulations and more taxes.
Wow, McNery just figured out that we are losing jobs! His backing of Health Care is just one of many examples why companies are moving out of the USA. We have to send this Light Weight back to his wind farm!
Full of hot air. He is just trying to stay in the headlines acting like he is moving to the center! We know who and what this guy is.
Unemployed in Novemebr!
Just keep those tax increases coming Jerry. We're keeping track...
Chet, jrm, keep drinking the koolaid.
McNerney in the one action of voting for "health care reform" did great damage this country.
Tell Jerry to GET OUT OF THE WAY OF BUSINESSES. That will solve the problem.
Not sure how this abolishes capitalism and the free market? Making tougher penalties for "illegal" loopholes? Allowing a public agency to give "preference" to companies that have not outsourced? I can't find anything in the bill REQUIRING agencies to use companies that have NOT outsourced- it seems to just allow for asking for that information to be collected and used in the decision making process - (and to allow penalties for those that lie about it)(Web Link:) So exactly how does this ruin the free market system?
Hurrah for Jerry!!
the one who wants to stop 'childish taunts' uses the perverted pejorative tea baggers to describe TEA Partiers who are arguing against Jerry McNereny's agenda? And that is hate?
who is the hateful childish one here?
JRM? Is Jerry McNerney's middle initial R?
JRM _ You state "our childish taunts are getting redundant and ultimately hurting our cause." Voting out those who are only for party gain or there individual gain, not for the people, is being grown up and will eventually help our cause. Do you enjoy the present state of our Country. Wake Up!!!
The congressman is in a desperate mode since his townhall mtg last month at the Danville library. The mtg that was micromanaged to eliminate any negative comments airing to a large group. Has the congressman "remembered" if he STOOD for Mexican president Calderone after el presidente bashed OUR country in congress during his recent visit????? Vote mcinerny OUT in November----maybe he can get elected in Mexico.
I have no problem with McNerney's proposal to increase penalties on tax cheats, but let's not kid ourselves. Most U.S. companies are not tax cheats.
This article would lead you to believe that 83 of 100 biggest corporations are using tax haven subsidiaries in order to engage in fraud, tax evasion, etc. and that simply is not true.
The reason why U.S. companies use tax haven subsidiaries is because that puts them on equal footing with their international rivals. Nearly every country has tax deferral for foreign subsidiaries' earnings.
McNerney's not proposing that we end U.S. tax deferral, of course. He's just saying the Fed. govt. should hire companies that don't outsource. My problem with that is, if it costs the federal govt. more money to hire only companies that don't outsource, is that a smart use of public money? Shouldn't the govt. try to save money whenever possible?
My question for McNerney is, are companies outsourcing just to destroy U.S. jobs? Or are they trying to survive in an ultra-competitive global market? If so, why punish companies for just trying to survive?
Well, Jerry, you just lost my vote. Your "simple" idea will decrease economic activity by a great deal, but will make a few jobs, but not net jobs.
According to mcnerney---he and others in congress must have the very SAME obamacare foisted on Americans. Um--gee--this is diametrically the opposite of what they secretly voted for themselves! They are ExEmPt from socialized Obama/pelosi "care!"
Bye bye Jerry. Can't wait to vote against you.
I guess I will be the one to say to the richard cranium using Mary Travers name as your sign in is so not cool....perhaps others do not get it but this is of course the wonderful feminine voice of Peter, Paul and Mary.....and you espouse the positions so opposed to those she would support...shame on you dude...
Thank You Jerry.
"Hate," "Childish taunts". Quit the ad hominems and get off your self-righteous bandwagon and offer some proof that current policies in Washington and especially in California are moving the country and State in the correct direction.
The way to stop outsourcing is to make it more economically attractive NOT to outsource.
Of course that takes creative legislation not just lock -step punitive legislation. McNerney
and his fellow travelers have lost sight of the simple fact that American Industry and the free enterprise system (they so dearly love to denigrade) are what made America great!
Whether McNerney leaves office in January '11 will be a test of how intelligent..... or how ideologue..... are the voters of this Congressional District.
Thanks for your comment about the Mary Travers username. It is shameful thing to do, especially since that wonderful Lady has passed on. I noticed that name before but thought surely no one would be so insensitive, rude or hateful to do what this person is so obviously doing. Shame on you!!!!!
Perhaps I should use Ronald Reagan as my name to spout my views.
Well, I have said it before and I will again, Thank You Jerry McNerney!
Bye, bye Jerry!
It was great seeing you at the Danville 4th of July parade. When all of your minions came by offering us in the crowd your campaign buttons and stickers, nobody took them (except the little kids who were taking things from anybody).
That should tell you to start packing....
Mr. Geisler....well , if you are going to call me out specifically I will be happy to provide additional detail. I just had surgery to implant a cataract lens at San Ramon Regional Med Ctr. The "billed charges" at SRMC for my 45 minute procedure was $21,416.00. My insurer, United Healthcare, had previously negotiated an acceptable rate for a procedure of this sort with Tenet Healthcare (the owners of SRMC) to be a sum of $6,250.00 and as a result my 20% co-pay portion was $1,250.00. Had I been one of the ones unfortunate enough to not have coverage I would have been on the hook for $21,416.00. Perhaps I would have been "uninsurable" if my wife had a pre diagnosed condition of breast cancer, or I had a child with a chronic illness. The Providence Healthcare system in Oregon is being sued for this predatory cost shifting but they are obviously not alone, it is "de reguerre" in healthcare. I am an experienced healthcare exec on both the device, provider and payer side so I know what I am speaking of. Obama's effort to finally bring past Presidents Nixon, Ford, Bushes, and Clinton past desire for healthcare reform over the goal line is a big improvement. Universal coverage, high risk pools etc...
Moreover, what I find particularly egregious is that you are (were) a YMCA Board member and you remain silent on where our money went in local fundraising efforts. I bet it made you feel great to be selected for the board but you really dropped the ball for your community in the end amigo.
Lastly, my issue was with the relentless knee jerk negative reactions of the Tea Partiers...it reminds me of the journalist Hunter Thompson training his dog to snarl and hiss every time he said "Nixon"....the childish "He's a Bum"....."Check out moving companies" is similar. November is months away, do we have to see this every week? A civil discourse is a better means to communicate
the opposing view and at least wait until October for goodness sake.
Just 5 months before the election and he's all of sudden concerned about jobs. Coincidence? McNerney votes with Pelosi 95.2% of the time, now he's doing everything to make himself look like a "moderate". It's just too late Jerry....
Don't miss out on the discussion!
