Scoop! Scoop! McNerney Votes for Health Care Bill

Original post made by Rick Pshaw, Danville, on Sep 24, 2010

Well, I guess this really isn't a news scoop since McNerney voted for the Obama-care bill a while ago. However, I have some concern about McNerney's short-term memory since he seems to have forgotten all about this vote in his floundering re-election campaign.

Perhaps he should take advantage of the Obama-care bill and have some memory tests run on possible selective memory loss.

Oh, I almost forgot, Obama-care does not apply to members of congress. They have their own sacrosanct health-care package that is quite a bit better than the one they foisted on the American public. (Maybe I need a memory test myself for almost forgetting such a blatant abuse of power.)

Our fine Congressman Jerry McNerney made the right vote on Health Care reform for our district 11 and for the country. Jerry McNerney and Pres Obama were elected by a large majority and as expected delivered on the promised Health Care reform. This is the American way and one the reason we have elections. It was certainly a tough issue and it takes leaders like McNerney to take on such tough issues.

Chet: Yes, the American way will vote both McNerney and Obama out of office, before those two bankrupt our great country with their socialistic tax schemes.

If JM is so proud of his vote, why isn't it the lead topic in his election campaign?

Without the help of any GOPers it has been Pres Obama along with our fine Congressman Jerry McNerney that led us all out of the Great Bush/GOP Recession. We are not going to go back to the same policies that got us into that mess. The GOPers are hurting us all. They won't even support tax breaks for small business and extending the reduced taxes for the middle class. We have a growing economy again and will never be fooled again and return to GOP policies.

The cause for the recession can be laid at the feet of Barney Frank and his liberal buddies and we are not going to go back to the same policies and people that got us into that mess.

The democrat liberals are hurting us all by not extending the Bush tax cuts. If the tax cuts are not extended it is the same as a TAX INCREASE. Our economy is on the ropes and a massive tax increase could push us over the edge.

Beyond any doubt or even the most wild imagination it was Bush policy and lack his lack of control and understanding that led to the Great Bush Recession. Controls have been put in place and we currently have a President and Congress that are making the right moves and led us out of the Bush Recession. If the GOPers get some sense we will have continued middle class tax relief and new tax breaks for companies with fewer than 500 employees. These are the people that need the continued tax relief in these hard times. These are also the size business that need new tax relief as they are also the size businesses that create the majority of new jobs. But the GOPers will try to stay in the way of this needed change as they only know how to say no.

Beyond any doubt or even the most wild imagination, this is the Obama recession. After spending trillions of stimulus dollars, nothing has been stimulated. I sympathize with the women who said to Obama's face that she is exhausted waiting for change. If she thinks that she's exhausted now, wait until the TAX INCREASE become active.

Controls have been put in place by a President and Congress that are limiting our liberties and freedom on a daily basis.

The GOP says yes to TAX CUTS because that's the only ethical way there is to create jobs and wealth. Wealth doesn't come out of a printing press no matter how much the libs want you to believe it.

Sorry to bore you with the facts but thanks the leadership of Pres Obama and the Democrats the Great Bush recession ended last year. We again have a growing GNP. We have a long ways to go and if the GOPers find any sense and go along with extending the tax breaks for the middle class and new tax breaks for small business we will speed up the recovery.

Just because some left-wing organization made up a fictional "end of the recession" declaration doesn't mean it's true. Facts don't bore me but falsehoods (lies) bore me to tears.

By the way, why do we need to speed up the recovery since the recession ended last year? Do you feel recovered?

Recovery would be an excellent place for Mr. Pshaw.
