Here are some activities that are happening over the next few days, remember there are many good causes let's get to hear about them all. What do you know that is going on in the community, let's make sure that everyone's hard work is not in vane, many people are putting effort and energy into producing these events so the more we can spread the word the more of a success these events will be.

Blue Star Moms Danville: Just a reminder for a very good cause, Safeway we are having a drop zone in Lafayette Saturday, Jan. 22nd, from 10-3. The Blue Star Moms will be sending 400-500 Valentine's Day care packages to the troops on Jan. 29th. They are calling it Hearts for Heroes!

NAWBO –(National Association of Women Business Owners)-East Bay Chapter. The winter luncheon is being held January 27 at the Pleasanton Hotel, in the Farmer Restaurant. The cost is $25. The topic is personal health and business health, power in the connection. For more details go to Web Link

Sustainable Danville Area will be holding their January forum on Thursday, January 20th at 7pm at The Danville Library 400 Front Street. The topic is: "Ten Ways to Save Energy in 2011 - Energy Resolutions For Your Home and Wallet" The speakers will share simple, low cost changes to lighting, insulation, heating and water to make a difference to residential energy costs year round. Also, in partnership with San Ramon Valley High School they will be hosting the first Sustainable High School Summit in our area. The focus is to unite Danville and San Ramon high school students that are interested in environmental stewardship on their campuses and in their community.
