ANNOUNCES NOMINEES FOR 2010 EDUCATOR, BUSINESS,
CITIZEN and CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION, OF THE YEAR
AWARDS TO BE PRESENTED AT THE
2011 INSTALLATION DINNER
The Chamber is pleased to announce the nominees for 2010 Educator of the Year:
Cindy Eagan - San Ramon Valley High School, Pat Hansen - Vista Grande Elementary School, Bruce Koliha - Monte Vista High School. This award will be presented by The Valley Sentinel.
The 2010 Business Person of the Year nominees is: Gordon Clarke - Tower Grille, Marcia Harmon - Cottage Jewel, Steve Wilcox - Summit Financial Group, LLC. This award will be presented by Bay Area News Group-East Bay/Tri-Valley Herald.
The 2010 Citizen of the Year nominees are: Paulina McGill - Friend of the Chamber, Nancy Mullally - Alamo Capital, Jerry Warren - Museum of the San Ramon Valley. This award will be presented by Bay Area News Group-East Bay/San Ramon Valley Times.
The 2010 Charitable Organization of the Year nominees is: Down Syndrome Connection of the Bay Area, Museum of the San Ramon Valley, The Wheelchair Foundation. This award will be presented by The Danville Express. "This is the third year for the award," said Gina Channell-Allen, publisher of Danville Express.
"We want to recognize the hard work and dedication of the local non-profits that give so much to our community."

Tickets are still available for the Installation Dinner installing the 2011 Chairman of the Board, Kim Lindeberg of the Lindeberg Group and the 2011 Board of Directors. This event will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2011, at the Diablo Country Club. The evening begins with no-host cocktails at 6:30pm, followed by dinner and program promptly at 7:30p.m.
