Anyone looking for what a failure of adequate parenting looks like, well here you have a perfect example.
This is why we need more law enforcement officers with a quicker response time in Alamo. We have to teach people not to open the door in a situation like this, but to call for help.
I think there is more to this story. First of all 4 men and a lady looking for a fight...That is no Lady. What the two guys did was wrong. But what is the rest of the story?
Sarah, Jessica is quoting the police officer! Her writing skills are fine and what does that have to do with the story who cares... Geez people! DON'T SWEAT the simple stuff!
It's about the poor dog that got killed. Pit Bulls SUCK!
LOL! It's about the stupid kids fighting with an axe! Did you catch that one! LOLLLLL :)
probably should have this writer check her facts, 4 kids show up in the middle of a night assault a parent and then are the victims?
Dear concerned grandma.
Where does it say that this happened in Alamo?
Responder was Lt. Dan Pratt of the San Ramon Police Department
The story is completely confusing as written. The two named individuals who were arrested would apparently be the "suspects", and it seems that the incident occurred at one of their residences (presumably the residence of the San Ramon arrestee...). But then it says "after banging on the front door, Kosak and Shulman engaged in a fight on the front lawn". Huh?
It does seem like the injured person was one of the five people who showed up at the house where the suspects were. But the story cries out for more explanation, and clarity.
I have heard that it was not an Alamo resident who wielded the hatchet, that is simply misinformation. In addition, these kids were physically threatened on private property and reacted only when the parent who was seeking to end the dispute was pushed. This story should be clarified and researched further as it fails to fully inform as to the utterly inappropriate actions of what were described as the victims. It is tragic and disturbing that a young man was injured but a rush to judgement of those charged is not fair.
"the two are waiting to hear **weather** the District Attorney will file charges"
What IS IT with Danville and Alamo kids acting like wannabe ghetto gangsters and dressing up like rappers?! Just look up the profile of Ray Shulman on Facebook and you'll see what I'm talking about. I have extraordinary difficulty understanding how fellow youths carry themselves with these faux-ghetto lifestyles...last time I checked, Alamo was among the top 20 richest communities in the United States.
As a side note, this article is terribly written.
Hey Mark, maybe before you start passing judgements on other people you should take a look at your pathetic self in the mirror and reconsider. Regardless of what happened, to put yourself on a pedestal anonymously and put down a kid who did nothing not only makes you look like an ignorant fool but also yells out stupidity. Sure, this "poorly written article" puts innocent people on bad light, but perhaps you would consider not to say such false statements which are completely unable to be proved before you make such a bold comment. You are the scum of this town, sir. Maybe illogical fools such as yourself will wake up next time before they press judgement on people that are non deserving of if. This is why we live in America, so that such false ideologies and biases will not be taken seriously when coming out of the mouth of a fool.
Mark, you hit the nail on the head! I don't get it. These kids have no idea how good they have it! For some reason, living a thug life is what they think is cool! They will unfortunatly learn the hard way. I really don't understand where you are coming from Craig? Either you are really Ray Shulman or someone related to him,and that's why you have such harsh words for Mark. Go check out Ray Shulman's page on FB and tell me this kid is not a wannabe gangster thug in the making. I highly doubt this kid had to face some of the harsh reality that inner city kids deal with, not did he grow up in a city that is saturated by hip hop culture or crime. This is obviously a case of bad parenting and lack of good sense on the group of kids looking for a confrontation.....what ever the reason was, violence is never the answer.
Don't miss out on the discussion!
