In this week's [Web Link Raucous Caucus], Tom Cushing dives headfirst into the two things you should never discuss on a first date: religion and politics. A subject that makes some enraged and leaves others cringing in anxiety, Cushing asks readers whether a politician's religion makes a difference during elections.

Dear Editor,

Do any of your readers, plus Tom, remember George Carlin's edit of the ten commandments when he reduced it to one. To paraphrase, keep your religion to yourself.

Does that spark interest in your readers to add to such consideration of religion and politics? It is a great subject and much more interesting than discussing tomfoolery and drivers licenses and likely more moving.
