This is such a great teaching moment for those that run and administer non-profits of all types and sizes here in the Tri-Valley. When the fund raising becomes more of a social scene than good administration, when the sense of entitlement grows and morphs into a grandiose view of "how special we are", that organization if ready for a fall and we saw that here. Fiscal responsibility requires a management team that does just that no matter how uncomfortable for the the executive director and the board needs to lead not just be a social club.
