I wonder why when I just looked to see that all our previous comments have been deleted. Is someone monitoring and deleting the no vote commentys on purpose?

I am very dismayed to see that the editors have removed all the comments against the bond issue. There were quite a number of comments stating opinions against the Bond and now they have all disappeared. I would really appreciate an explaination as to why.

Meetings held at 8:45 AM on a weekday are just about guaranteed of having a low turnout due to the pesky thing called work for the vast majority. No coincidence I'm sure!

Oh, William, I'm sure that 8:45AM meeting time is "for the children". (sarc) Not surprised the negative comments are deleted.

The purpose of moving around the mtg time is to get a low turnout for their money grab. That their initial mailer arrived 2 days after the first meeting was quite revealing. Vote NO on any new $. Wait until u c what gov brown has planned for the suckers (tax payers) of CA. Just wait.

Is the timing of this meeting a Joke?? A Board meeting at 8:45 am for a school district that serves over 30,000 children and families?? A $260,000,000.00 Bond (Tax) to the community without more any regard to community input?

Is this considerate way of informing the community that the only option and answer for the poor performance of our California legislators is to give the politicians in California a free ride regarding funding towards education; by sticking the taxpayers AGAIN, this time locally?!

Are new taxes the only choice when push comes to shove with our politicians and the CTA?

If there are two members of the SRVUSD Board, with involvement in a private business of Bond and Tax consulting, shouldn't the writers who cover the SRVUSD and this particular subject vet these Board members? The job of the writers who cover our school district need some due diligence training on this subject?

Our taxes are high enough. We all try to live within our budgets. Why should the district be different?

At least the district is being very transparent... The district doesn't care WHAT the public thinks. It certainly doesn't want our feedback. They will hold their meetings just so that the public CANNOT attend... HMMMMM.... very interesting, but typical.

Wish I could attend, but I have to be at work...like most folks.

Hey, new Superintendent, please take note that we're watching...

Well,

When I read the blurb about the new meeting time, at first I thought that the start was being pushed back to 8:45 PM, possibly to allow mow time for people with long commutes to get to the meeting.

Then I read with amazement that the meeting was being pulled up to tomorrow morning, at 8:45 AM!

This is setting a new standard for disdain for the voters and taxpayers. It also confirms my skepticism for the proposal.
