Danville businesswoman gives soles to those in need

Much of Lisa Brown's life revolves around shoes -- the Danville resident and Tootsies owner busily moves around her shop, which sells footwear, accessories and offers pedicures. But last month, the relationship between shoes and feet took on a new meaning in Brown's life.

I love the idea that Lisa is doing this but I truly believe we have many children in NEED right here in Contra Costa County or America for that matter. I would love to see people support the foster care kids in our community and beyond. Please think "INSIDE the box" when looking to help others. America is in need ourselves.
