I thought Richard Price retired as Fire Chief.

Is Richard Price the SRVFD Fire Chief?

Richard Price did retire (see this article in the Express: Web Link), but he said he would continue to act as a volunteer chief. Basically, he decided to continue his duties as chief with virtually no pay and no benefits, collecting a pension instead.

As is such, the Express will continue to refer to him as the fire chief.
