114 flights out of SFO canceled as east coast airports remain closed

As post-tropical cyclone Sandy battered much of the East Coast with strong winds, flooding and even blizzards Tuesday morning, many airports remained shut down and dozens of flights were canceled at local airports. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, seven airports remain shut down because of the storm.
