Residents walk to honor veterans

The fifth annual Walk of Honor brings together community members and veterans organizations for leisurely walk across the "Alfred Zampa Memorial Bridge" and barbeque. The event regularly draws over 600 participants, many of whom walk in honor of a family or friend who is currently serving.

Thanks for reminding us about the walk of honor sponsored by Phillips 66 today. We missed it two years ago and last year found it to be a fun morning walk - not to mention the nice lunch. Very worthwhile.
