Plan Bay Area passes

Original post made on Jul 19, 2013

A coalition of Bay Area leaders late Thursday night approved a long-term regional plan meant to accommodate population growth over the next few decades while meeting state mandates for cutting air pollution and improving access to public transportation.

@Huh?: Your willingness to fall into ABAG's/MTC's trap by labeling all those that would challenge Plan Bay Area as "loonies" displays your own looniness.

Local control, which Plan Bay Area seeks to eradicate, is what gives us some semblance of influence over our quality of life. When the lot next to yours is redesignated pursuant to Plan Bay Area for a multi-story apartment tower looming over your home, perhaps you will no longer view ABAG/MTC as benevolent "big brothers" and those that challenge them as "loonies".

Many thanks to all those that attended the rigged ABAG/MTC meeting last night!

The meeting last night was rigged. The decisions were already made. There were over 400+ people in attendance and the overwhelming majority were opposed to the plan. The unelected regionalists are steamrolling this through. Thank you to Heather Gass and others who at least have the guts to stand up to these government hacks.

This plan will destroy small towns like Danville.

Would you mind if I just stick a needle in you and pump a little something into your veins?
We think that it will be best for you (and your children for that matter) and you will thank us in the long run.
Oh, you do mind?
Well, I'm so sorry, but you have to have this. It's the new law. And you wouldn't want to break the law and incur penalties, would you? Really, I think you'll want this in your system.

Huh? Is a typical koolaid drinking libTARD shill. Doubt he has been to one mtg.....ABAG etc is a socialist push----the agenda has far reaching negative consequences.

Another libTARD is council member "Renee." Hangs at the Danville farmers'market glowing in her own self-importance and lies about the coming trash/ghetto she voted for coming to Danville.

I don't care whether you are a Dem or a Republican, our individual rights are slowly but effectively being swept away by the current political powers. When will people wake up? When they do it will be too late. When the government tells you that you have to buy health insurance or be fined, eat certain food, build certain types of housing, and tax those who create jobs out of business it is pretty obvious what is going on. Right now many businesses are going only to part time workers to avoid Obamacare. This will really help unemployment! But wait a minute, alot of Americans are happy about it. Since they do not create jobs, pay taxes or own property they are thrilled with the direction. The government will take care of them from crade to grave. Sounds like socialism to me.

Didn't you know this is a communist conspiracy. Soon the black helicopters will be circling Danville to take you guns and Bibles. Next they will import minorities into Danville, oh the horror of it all. The infamous "they" will come and engineer your community with activists. They may even support a women'r right to choose. These are dangerous times we live in. Thank God for the Tea Party, as they will protect us.
