Voting for a candidate for president of the United States because "it would be cool" is a scary thing. Who are you people?! You vote for the person because they are most qualified, have the best interest of the country in mind and they will follow the constitution. This is far too serious to vote for a candidate because "it would be cool" to have them as the president. I don't care what shape, color, size, gender or any other label you give that person. You vote for the BEST person, period.

Gees, Beth, lighten up. It's just their off-the-cuff opinion, no one is voting yet. We can only hope both parties nominate people - men and women - who are qualified, and Hillary definitely is. Good advice, Alamo Ron! I need to learn how to use my fill-in flash because I have this problem all the time.

"Wouldn't it be something to see Bill [Clinton] become the first Gentleman of the United States?"

Ha ha.

Yeah, he's a real gentleman alright. Just keep him away from the interns.

Oh My God...Marie, you made my heart miss a beat. "Who are qualified, and Hillary definitely is"

How can you make such and irresponsible statement like that...It is obvious you are not functioning on all cylinders.

Obama (who I am sure you voted for) is bad enough...But Hillary Clinton is evil and corrupt...My God what makes people like you tick?

Thank you for listening, Julia Pardini from Alamo

hey Julia - what makes us tick .. its a desire to embrace science, help fellow humans, conserve the environment, respect minorities of all kinds, build and grow businesses, sensible gun control, univeral healthcare, and on and on.

Sorry if all this does not make any sense to you.

Many people in this country are too focused on their own life to pay attention to politics and be aware of issues. Great targets for politicians to influence and manipulate. Their votes count the same as those who take the time and the burden of being informed and think for themselves. Without an informed electorate our system of government will be destroyed over time. Someone said: People have the government they deserve. Pay attention!
