Very interesting article...

I believe I read in some previous news articles that a CHP officer pulled over a tow truck that was dragging a chain thus sending sparks into the dry grass. Maybe I am wrong, but That's what I thought I read. It appears the author of this Danville Express article may have read the same news account.

Reading further down this Danville Express article I read where the author says that Capt. Marshall says "There can be a million different things that could happen" I personally challenge Capt. Robert Marshall to name just one hundred (100) things that could happen.

Thanks for listening, Julia Pardini from Alamo

Would "A guy out target shooting" be on your list, Julia? Seems to me that there are well over a hundred different things which might cause a fire, but CalFire announced the cause of this one yesterday.
