What a wonderful opportunity for these young children to be able to have an "inside look" at how local government is opperated. Both Mayor Shimansky and officer McGinnis were able to effectively bring "government" to their young level. (I have personally met with officer McGinnis & he's great with the kid's and a natural teacher.) This will be something that these children bring with them into their adult life and hopefully spur some of them on, into the political life.
