My thoughts exactly. The parents were obviously "out of town" since this event took place over two days. What's up with that? Not OK to leave teenagers home unsupervised while Mom and Dad are off to..wherever. At the very least, have a responsible mature neighbor check in frequently with the "older" teenagers.

Oh, puleese! Teenagers in the San Ramon Valley are empowered, entitled and catered to by their parents and it starts from birth. The parents are their peers in many ways so the kids act like their equals and mirror what the folks do. Parents have very little control and the kids know it. Most of them drink, do drugs, have sex. I live off Camino Tassajara and neighbor's kids live with their boyfriend du jour in the parents home, do drugs and drink (I've seen it) but the parents are home too! No big deal obviously. Welcome to the real world. Now get over it.

I have seen Danville parents lie, cheat, and do many undesirable things right in front of their own children and other children. All of the trouble makers have parents that allow them to get away with everything and anything. It is disgusting! These parents need to grow up and realize that they are only hurting their own child's future. Start disciplining, start saying "no", stop being your child's friend and be their parent!!! In the long run, they will love and respect you more.
