Overlapping elections cause ballot headache

Residents may be a bit confused, as over the last few weeks they've received not one but two ballots for upcoming elections - Measure C mail-in votes due May 5, and the California Special Election taking place May 19.

The ballot for the measures 1a-1f came way before the voter information booklet.

I will bet that many people voted without having a chance to read the booklet.

At least the measure C ballot had some info in the envelope.

The booklet for measures 1a-1f comes from the state not the county office who mailed you the ballot.
