Don't believe everything you READ
Original post made by Hal Bailey, CDSI on Dec 26, 2007
In the past five days, postings have been made to the Town Square Forum in names of Alamo neighbors without their authorship or permission. For the most part, the postings oppose the incorporation of Alamo and specifically oppose the regional political actions of Alamo Incorporation Movement steering committee members.
Many legitimate postings have requested further definition of citizen participation in any city government for Alamo. Such legitimate concerns include assurances that a feasibility study can be thoroughly reviewed by Alamo's majority of residents prior to any final definition of our city government and incorporatio election by Alamo voters.
Please verify anything you read with your neighborhoods and neighbors and if you have any concerns for postings, please contact Steve Mick at AIM via Steve@alamore.org. If you wish to understand the legitimate incorporation concerns being expressed in Alamo neighborhoods, I will provide available information for your review.

The recent access to Alamo e-chains by other than Alamo Region neighbors and the messages sent in neighbor's on-line names has been corrected at the sponsor's network and commercial e-mail network. Two spamming, donotreply addresses were identified and notified that access has been cancelled. The impacted e-mail addresses have been changed.
The mail messages circulated by these spammers used secondary transmission addresses to make commentary appear to be from forum chairs, neighborhood reps or community counsel members. It was neighbors immediate challenges to the messages that triggered network detection.
Thank you, neighbors, for protecting our community and neighborhood e-chains.
