San Francisco wins high honors in nationwide booze battle

As if San Franciscans didn't have enough to be proud about, a new distinction has been bestowed upon the city by the bay: it's the third drunkest city in the nation. According to gossip site [Web Link The Daily Beast], San Francisco residents fall just slightly behind Milwaukee and Fargo for average drinks per person, per month.

This is perfect. First, the Sf'ers are noted for being the city that thinks banning McDonald's Happy Meals will keep their overweight kids lean & fit, and now they are known as a drinker's haven, more than Las Vegas. Wow. Having worked in SF for 18 years, I always knew first-hand that it was often the city of nutwads, but aside from the Giants winning the World Series, what else is there about 2010 to like there?
