Glad that local boy is doing so well with the Giants, but charging $20 for an autograph, to local kids, really? It is bad enough having to pay $30 just to park your car at Giants game, before you drop another $150 for tickets and food and drinks. It would sure be nice if Nate could thank his long time, local fans for their loyalty, without shaking kids down for $20 for an autograph, on fathers day!

Nate was not 'shakin the kids down' for twenty bucks. If you need to put the blame on someone to feel better then blame me. I set the price to cover cost of having the event and making some money. After all...I am in the memorabilia business. That being said...everyone that showed up (about 500 people!) had a great time. Nate was very gracious and took multiple pictures with anyone that asked and stayed way over the time we had him listed. A fine young man!

Agreed. Nate Schierholtz gave each fan the time to personally speak with him, take a picture or two, and customize autographs upon request. This was not your ordinary autograph signing session, Nate took a real interest in the community. The twenty bucks was actually no higher than the last time he signed autographs at the shop when he was a rookie. The small fee reduces crowd level and allows Nate to spend a few moments of quality time with the kids.
Besides it was Father's Day for Nate Schierhotltz as well, and he could have easily spent more time in town visiting with his father rather than signing autographs for the community.
