Those darn recyclers at it again and again. The authorities need to make the recycling companies that buy copper and other scrap metals accountable...if you buy stolen property you pay the price. And believe me the scrap dealers know if the material they are buying is stolen...just look at the seller. You know right off if the low life has 100 or 200 pounds of new copper wire to sell.

The trouble is the scrap dealer turns a blind eye to the situation and just wants to profit from the deal.

A theft in a building downtown right under the noses of our higly trained polce department ? I am sure our elite police force would have nailed someone doing 38 in a 35 mph zone though !

I heard a rumor that it was the Town council that stoled the Large beautiful REDWOOD TREES.
Worth much more than the tools and copper wire to the people that walk and talk and visit Danville to shop the shops and eat and drink in the coffee shops and bars..

One thing to consider is this could be an "inside" job that involves one or more job site workers.
