This is absolutely disgusting! I'm outraged by the brutality of our school administrators! Why are our children being treated like prisoners?! I have always found positive reinforcement leads to positive change and the objective of the program was just that - rehabilitation and not punishment. What a wide gap from our idealism to reality! These are the same types of people dictating the policies in our standard school systems too. My son's starting school this year... I'm watching you.

Where is the oversight committee known as the Contra Costa Mental Health Commission in all of this? They have either been shirking their duties or as I believe have been kept in the dark about this. I fear the atrocities that take place behind these walls would cause most of us to cringe.
