From Norman Wielsch’s Filthy Cops Club Band

Lovely Stevie, Dirty Cop,
Nothing could contravene you,
When it got dark that’s when you made ‘em pay!

Standing by, for word from Butler,
Man, this scheme could not be subtler, Bustin’ drunken hubbies for the DA to sue.
In a car, with a deputy oldster,
And the Glock there in your holster,
Made you look a little like an honest cop man...

Lovely Stevie, dirty cop,
May I ask indiscreetly
When are you free to D-U-I with me?

The mark went out, and had a dinner,
Chick would flirt, he’d try to win her,
They’d drink and she would tell him he could trail her, and then,
In his car, our Stevie’d stop him,
In divorce, the judge would lop him:
"You drunk: no kids, and maybe just a visit or two!"

Oh, lovely Stevie, dirty cop
Where would we be without you?
Give us a wink -- one for you cellmate, too!

Lovely Stevie, Dirty Cop
Lovely Stevie, Dirty Cop
/and fade
